I had dinner at Cafe Americana last night and I’m so glad I did! Flawless food and service. Family-owned and the quality shines. Menu includes tapas and some entrees. Our group wanted to try a few different things, so we opted for Brussels sprouts (one of the best preparations I’ve ever had), a delicious meat, vegetable and rice dish, and the towering coconut cake of greatness with pineapple sauce of the side.
When I say tower, I mean the size of Manhattan. All three of us had to work to finish this, but we couldn’t leave any of it.
Food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent. Tony was very helpful and welcoming. There is an outdoor patio as well that I look forward to in warmer weather.
I wish I had taken pictures before we enjoyed our food and dessert, but we dove right in and just kept eating!
Don’t miss this experience, it’s uniquely delicious with a diverse menu and a nice ambiance. Try the espresso martini!

Fear not the exterior. Everything about the inside of Cafe Americana is lovely. including the design, vibe, food and service. We were fortunate to have Roxanne as our server. She did a marvelous job of educating us as first timers without answering questions we didn't ask. Must have items include the seafood paella and mussels.

Absolutely a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how aesthetically pleasing the place is, cozy chic, every corner is Instagram-worthy with such thoughtful decor. The vibes are just chef’s kiss.
Our server (I wish I remembered his name!) was an absolute delight, so warm and attentive. The service was wonderful from start to finish.
Now the food… heavenly. Every dish felt like a special treat. We indulged in a flavorful seafood paella, a perfectly crisp yucca dish, pan con tomate, and a chef’s creation with couscous that I still can’t stop thinking about, though I wish I remembered the name! We found out the menu rotates every 3 months, so definitely enjoy your favorites while they last because wow, they’re worth it.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here with friends and even ended up staying past closing. The staff was so accommodating and kind, it really made the night feel extra special.
It’s been a couple of weeks and I’m still dreaming about that meal. Can’t wait to go back and try what the chef comes up with next!

The food was amazing. We had seafood paella, yucca fries and gambas al ajillo. The atmosphere inside is so cool. Felt like we were transported to a different part of the world. Loved all the beautiful plants and decor. The bar was also really nice. Prices were also super decent. The paella was killer, ask for lemons to put on top to make it really tasty! Can’t wait to bring our family and friends and enjoy the beautiful patio too.

Finally got to visit Café Americana today. Had read so many great reviews, had to try it out, so glad we did, it exceeded all our expectations. A wonderful experience!
My husband and I ordered the Seafood Paella and the New York Strip--both super delicious and very flavorful. The crispy pork was incredible, we couldn't get enough of this tasty dish, the honey sauce it comes with, needs to be bottled and sold!
Our cocktails drinks were great! The Sangria was so refreshing and the Old Fashioned was a winner as well. Now, as for the Coconut Cake, Wow!!!! It comes with a dark rum pineapple sauce and burnt merengue--all those flavors combined is mind-blowing, we've never tasted a cake like theirs, please order it, you will not be disappointed.
As for the staff--they were all just wonderful! Our server Christian, had a smile from the time we sat at our table and until we left, we really enjoyed his friendly personality and suggestions. Karla, one of the managers, was just super kind, friendly, and just has the best personality. We immediately felt so welcomed and comfortable. The atmosphere is such a beautiful unique, place and I'm glad it's part of Arlington.

Excellent brunch. Was nearly empty right at opening on Sunday at 11am.
Had the Paloma, the Shrimp & Grits, and the Coconut Cake all of which were excellent. The coconut cake in particular was outstanding (and huge).
Service was good/friendly, atmosphere was good, and it wasn't too big of a restaurant either which is nice.
Really really hope this place sticks around for the long haul, it's great.
Manager note: Just FYI, the bathroom faucet's hot water can get absurdly hot and absolutely did burn my hand. Please dial it back, and get a faucet that is more easily adjustable.

A hidden gem!!!!
Went for dinner with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and everything was perfect. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked, the service by the bar manager (whose name I can't remember) was top notch and she even let us try a jam she's working on creating. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been telling everyone about this place and I can't wait to go back myself.

My boyfriend found this place during a spontaneous Sunday night date when he was craving steak and we wanted to support somewhere local and new. He suggested Cafe Americana, and after scrolling through their website and seeing all the food options, I was completely sold.
When we first pulled up, I’ll admit…I had doubts. The exterior is dark and small, not exactly eye-catching. But wow, did I judge this book by its cover. The moment we walked inside, it felt like stepping into a different world. The interior is vibrant, warm, and almost tropical, with lush live plants throughout the space. Such a cool, unexpected vibe.
And the food? Immaculate. The empanadas? Crunchy, light, and airy with a killer sauce. The ribeye? Superb. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. The paella? Divine. It’s served in a cast iron dish that kept it piping hot the entire time, and the seafood tasted incredibly fresh. Portion sizes are generous too, by the end, dessert wasn’t even an option.
On top of all that, the staff was friendly and attentive, with great service from start to finish. This place completely exceeded expectations. Highly, highly recommend!
